We started training 66 students from Bedok South Secondary School (BSSS) on how to teach our seniors to avoid being scammed as well as how to use their SingPass to conduct government transactions using their mobile phone at Siglap CC. It is a 2 part training organised by Silver Generation Office (SGO) and conducted by Silver Digital Office (SDO) for the school. This ‘Train the Trainer’ programme includes both lectures and role play.
On 4 and 11 March, seniors will come to Siglap CC to learn how to acquire Silver Digital for Life skills and not be left behind in the digital age. They can sign up for the programme by scanning the QR code in the enclosed poster or by calling Siglap CC to register. Each training slot last for ca 1 hour duration and seniors can come and learn different skills every week. The availability of the training will be published regularly.
So if you are a senior and want to acquire digital skills, do join us by scanning the QR code or call up Siglap CC to register.
