Our 4 youth members continued their training as Harmony Ambassadors by going on a heritage trail at Tanjong Pagar this morning. There are many mosques, temples, churches near MND building and they braved the heavy downpour to understand how and why our multi racial and multi religious people have been living harmoniously side by side together since Singapore was founded >200 years ago.
The group also visited IRO HQ at MND and they learned about the 10 recognised religions in our country. There are many more minority religions in Singapore and we respect their beliefs and religions. Their learning journey continues and next week they will visit Google to learn about the importance and impact of social media to society.
